An Exotic Opportunity for Texas Tech Students

At Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, Texas Tech students now have the opportunity to get literal hands-on experience treating exotic animals from all over the world. In a partnership with the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine and Save The Giraffes, final year students can spend four weeks working with (and on) animals that call Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch their safe home away from home.
The students are guided by renowned Save The Giraffes Director of Veterinary Care, Dr. Stephen Momberg. Dr. Momberg has devoted his life to wildlife care and conservation in Europe and Africa and is deeply involved in rhinoceros and giraffe research.
“We were very excited to host our first rotation of two students this year,” said Tiffany Soechting, Marketing Director, Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. “Wildlife conservation is one of our core missions and the fact that Texas Tech University is training students to help the world’s exotic species thrive helps us know there’s a bright future for our animals here and the ones around the globe.”
