It has been an amazing 4 years since the twins, Buddy & Wasswa, were born. Their birth sparked awareness of the sad plight of wild giraffes. A documentary began filming after the twins were born and was picked up by the prestigious, National Geographic. The film is set to make its U.S. prime time debut on, May 21st at 7pm, CST. Buddy makes it in the film with a couple quick shots and the footage of Dr. Dagg was filmed in our Longneck Learning Center. The mass of the film focuses on the decline of the wild giraffes. Heart aches still prevail in the wake of Wasswa’s abrupt passing over a year ago, but her legacy lives on through the inspiration of the filming of this amazing documentary. NatGeo released their “Top 3 Moments”, #1 is our favorite.
