A Day Full of Fun and Adventure!
Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch has taken to heart the care of animals from all over the world for over 30 years. With over 450-acres of natural, scenic, protected environment where animal populations thrive, we take pride in showcasing and sharing amazing creatures from all over the world. The safari trek covers miles of the scenic Texas Hill Country, and it takes visitors about an hour to an hour and a half to drive through once, multiple treks are encouraged as every trip through the ranch is a different adventure. One part education, one part preservation; mixing it up for a day full of fun and adventure.

the walk-a-bout

Stretch Your Legs and Take a Walk-A-Bout on the Wild Side.
The giraffe barn is front-and-center in the Walk-A-Bout, which allows the chance for you to get up-close to the giraffe environment. You will also find the Safari Trading Post gift shop and Safari Camp Grill toward the entry of the Ranch in the Walk-A-Bout. Then, meander over to Lemur Island, the habitat of the Ring-Tailed Lemurs, which are native to Madagascar. Peacocks, Peahens, and their offspring roam freely, showcasing their beautiful eye-spotted tail feathers. They know their beauty, and they will pose for photos. The Gibbons will amaze you with their aerobatic antics.

The safari camp grill

Quench Your Thirst and Tame Your Appetite at The Safari Camp Grill.
For the Serengeti appetite, dig into juicy burgers with peppered fries, hot, bubbly cheddar cheese nachos, or crispy-fried chicken strips with creamy homemade gravy. Take a walk on the lighter side and enjoy fresh, homemade salsa and guacamole or a crispy salad chocked full of fresh veggies. Top it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and made-from-scratch chocolate cake with drizzles of white and milk chocolate syrup stripes making our signature Zebra-a-la Mode.

Note: The Safari Camp Grill kitchen closes at the same time the front gates close. Drinks, ice cream treats, fudge, and snacks are available until the park closes.

the petting barnyard

Come and meet all of our four-legged, furry friends!
Get extremely up-close, and share a few laughs on how the African Pygmy Goats and their many offspring beg for treats. For the young and young-at-heart, this area allows even toddlers to connect with animals on a nose-to-nose basis.

The safari sweet spot

Have a sweet tooth?  We can tame it!
It’s one of our favorite spots on the Ranch. Satisfy your sweet tooth with homemade fudge, hand-dipped ice cream, or a cold bottled beverage. Take your tasty treat onto the covered patio for the ultimate safari experience, where you can peacefully watch a herd of giraffes roam in our open fields. This section of the Wildlife Ranch is named “Tower Creek,” because a herd of giraffes is called a tower. The views of Cibolo Creek bluffs that border this section are fantastic!
